About the Founder
Mary Dees
President/CEO
Mary Dees opened Rapid Estate Liquidators and Auction Gallery in 2012 as the sole Owner/Operator.
Over the past nearly decade, she has created a successful estate sales company that offers honest, reliable and professional real estate and personal property auction services to people managing estates in the Orlando area.
Mary takes pride in operating a premier estate sales company that eliminates the stress from the estate liquidation process, while monetizing her client’s assets for top market value.
After graduating from Florida State University in 1993 with a Criminology/Criminal Justice degree, Mary began her career at the Gainesville Police Department, where she served the residents for five years before returning to her hometown of Orlando.
There she joined ADT Security/Tyco and quickly became a recognized top producer in the Southeast and nationally. During her tenure at ADT, Mary worked toward and received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in 2007.
After seven successful years and several promotions, Mary left ADT to join Golfweek magazine (Turnstile Publishing Company). She spent the next 10 years traveling the world as a top Sales Director at Golfweek for all travel, real estate, and golf course categories.
During her tenure at Golfweek, Mary had the privilege to meet and work with a wide range of individuals, including many celebrities and professional athletes.
Starting an Estate Sale Company in Orlando – A Dream is Born!
Mary left Golfweek to focus on her newborn twins and pursue her longtime dream of opening an auction house.
She believed that her diverse skill set could enable her to bring a much-needed service to assist folks during difficult times to help ease the burden of liquidating a loved one’s possessions.
That’s how Rapid Estate Liquidators quickly evolved from an idea at the dining room table to a storage unit to a large warehouse to the estate sales company that is helping people throughout the Orlando area make the best of difficult situations.
In 2017, Mary attended Auctioneer School in South Florida and became a licensed Auctioneer. Immediately upon receiving her license, she opened an Auction Gallery and held her first auction just three months later.
Rapid Estate Liquidators and Auction Gallery began running monthly online auctions and today our estate auctions Orlando services feature daily online auctions, as well as various local on-site auctions where that is best suited.
Mary has earned her real estate license and is close to getting qualified as a Certified Estate Specialist. She is also experienced in appraisals of all types.
In addition, Mary routinely gives presentations for estate attorneys and their clients on topics such as decluttering, downsizing, safety in the home and today vs. yesterday personal estate values.
